HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
By Profession of Faith and Baptism:  If you will receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord and follow Him in baptism by immersion.
By Baptism from Another Denomination:  If you know in your heart that you received Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord at some point in your life and feel God has led you to our church but have never been baptized by immersion.
By Transfer of Letter:  If you are a Baptist whose membership is elsewhere and who feels God has led them to Rock Springs.
By Statement:  If you are saved and have been scripturally baptized in a church and your membership records are not available for transfer OR you are saved and have been baptized by immersion and are coming from another denomination.
If you feel that God has led you to Rock Springs, you may come forward during the invitation of any of our services and express you desire to the pastor.

WE BELIEVE the Bible is God’s inspired and inerrant word of instruction to mankind and His standard for life.
WE BELIEVE in one God who is eternal and who exists in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We BELIEVE that God first loved us and sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins, and without the shedding of His blood, mankind had no hope.  It is all because of God’s amazing grace that we can know Him in a person way.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus was both God and man, that He was born of a virgin, that He lived a sinless life, that He was crucified on a cross, that He was placed in a tomb, that He raised from the dead on the third day, and that He has ascended to the right hand of the Father and makes intercession for us today.
WE BELIEVE He is coming again to receive His church unto Himself, and we will receive glorified bodies just like Him.
WE BELIEVE the only way to get to Heaven and to be reconciled to God is to believe the Bible, acknowledge that man is eternally separated from God because of sin, that man needs a Savior, that the shedding of the blood is the only means of salvation.
WE BELIEVE that you need to ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive you of your sins, and that once you do that you need to follow Jesus’ example and command and be baptized by immersion.
WE BELIEVE that once you are saved you cannot lose your salvation.  You can lose your joy if you do not continue to grow spiritually.  Growth toward spiritually maturity should be the goal of every Christian.
